Last updated: March 2025

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AppReel (the Service), operated by AppReel (we, us, our), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Description of Service

AppReel is an AI-powered platform that allows users to generate promotional videos from website and app store URLs. The Service includes URL scraping, AI-generated marketing copy, video rendering in specified formats, and optional subscription or pay-per-video billing. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service with reasonable notice where feasible.

3. Account and Eligibility

You must create an account to use certain features. You represent that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and that all information you provide is accurate. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws or third-party rights.
  • Scrape or generate videos for websites or apps you do not own or have permission to promote.
  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the Service or output in a manner that competes with AppReel without our written consent.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service.
  • Overload or disrupt the Service, or use automated means to exceed reasonable usage limits.
  • Upload or input content that is defamatory, infringing, or that violates intellectual property or privacy rights of others.

5. Intellectual Property and Licenses

We retain all rights in the Service, including software, design, and branding. Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service and to use the video output you generate for your own commercial or personal promotion. You retain ownership of content you upload (e.g. screenshots); you grant us a license to process that content solely to provide the Service.

6. Payment and Refunds

Fees for subscriptions and one-time purchases are as stated on our pricing page. Payment is processed by Stripe. Subscription fees are billed in advance; one-time purchases are charged when you complete a purchase. We do not offer refunds for partial subscription periods or for rendered videos, except where required by law or at our sole discretion.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT OUTPUT WILL MEET YOUR SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, APPREEL AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, AND EMPLOYEES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time for breach of these Terms or for any other reason. You may cancel your account or subscription at any time via your account settings or Stripe Customer Portal. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases.
